Changing the game for one of Canada’s largest QSR’s
Problem: The Harvey’s brand team wanted to improve their main burger menu offering with a bigger, thicker burger, but had the challenges that they couldn’t increase cook time and wanted to improve guest experience.
Solution: Cardinal presented the world’s first Natural Texture Formed (NTF) burger. A proprietary innovation in forming technology that created superior texture & eating experience. However, due to the nature of the weave of the NTF product, it allowed even air-flow through the product during the cooking process and allowed the burger to retain more moisture. It also cooked faster than any other competitive-sized burger they evaluated during the process.
Harvey’s made the NTF burger their core burger product across all stores nationally, and it continues to be the franchise burger product for Harvey’s today.
