• Performing equipment repairs, supporting daily maintenance activities, and providing direct technical assistance to ensure minimal downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for plant electrical, electronic and control systems.
• Support and optimize PLC-based equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, IDEC, etc.).
• Manage installation, upgrades, and modifications of electrical/electronic systems.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance department, including advanced troubleshooting and training.
• Participate in development and mentoring of Cardinal resources.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, and electrical safety regulations.
• Optimize electrical equipment performance to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Demonstrate Servant Leadership through collaboration with operations, QA, and engineering.
• Actively promotes continuous improvement in electrical safety, automation, and energy efficiency.
• Provide coverage for critical electrical support during planned and unplanned absences.

• Licensed 442A Industrial Electrician or Electrical/Electronic Engineer with minimum 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong aptitude and proven experience in PLC programming and diagnostics (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, IDEC, etc.).
• Familiarity with PLC software platforms (RSLogix, TIA Portal, CX-One, etc.).
• Experience in food operations or other regulated manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated project management and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy includes MS Office and CAD applications.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
