The position works in a meat processing plant which is a cold/refrigerated environment and has odours. It is a fast-paced environment, overtime is required and there is work under pressure. This position is located at 155 Hedgedale Road, Brampton, Ontario. L6T 5P3 and is permanent, full time employment. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and is eligible for overtime as work may be required on weekends. The position starts as soon as possible and will receive Health benefits (including dental, disability and health card) as well as long-term care insurance benefits. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers

Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units

Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process

The position will supervise 3-4 people, including Industrial butchers and meat cutters, poultry preparers and related workers

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

3 years to less than 5 years working in a manufacturing environment

Excellent oral communication, able to communciate in English
