Cardinal Meats Specialists Ltd. is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the President and his Leadership Team, based at our Brampton location.

The role of Executive Assistant will provide senior level support to the President to stay organized and focused on ever-changing priorities, while also providing administrative assistance to the Leadership Team. 


  • Live our Core Values 
  • Ensure professional, responsive and effective support to the President and his Leadership Team to organize and expedite the flow of work and initiate follow up action as required. 
  • Promote the culture set out in the Company Philosophy. 
  • Provide full calendar management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Leadership Team. 
  • Provide support to prioritize and keep the President organized and focused on issues at hand and retain the responsibility of ensuring points raised are in focus until resolved. 
  • Effective File management (electronic and hard copy). 
  • Be the cultural eyes and ears of the organization. 
  • Provide Administrative support to the President, (Business & Personal). 
  • Oversee all Company Events and related event budgets. 
  • Oversee ongoing Office Clean up and storage. 
  • Produce reports, presentations and/or briefs for the President. 
  • Act as liaison and facilitate open lines of communications among the Leadership Team. 
  • Supervise and support the Office Manager. 
  • Accountable for ensuring there is coverage for planned and unplanned absences which could compromise our policies, procedures and programs. 
  • Act within the company philosophy. 


Functional Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management, and capable of supporting a dynamic Leadership Team 
  • Must be able to keep the leaders on track in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities 
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills 
  • Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written) 
  • Experience with vendor liaison and negotiations 
  • Budget and report management experience 
  • Ability to operate independently with initiative, discretion and diplomacy – often communicating independently on behalf of the President and/or the Leadership Team 
  • Openness to periodically adjust work hours as needed, sometimes with short notice 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of co-workers, management and external contacts
